The bursary is worth £2500 in total. The first year is payable as a £1500 waiver from College accommodation costs and the second year is payable as a cash bursary. Students selecting Writtle College as their firm choice via UCAS and achieving at least AAB at A-level or equivalent will be entitled to the bursary.
Terms and conditions
- The bursary is available to all new full-time UK and EU students
- The award of a bursary can only be made to applicants accepting an offer from Writtle College as their Conditional Firm (CF) or Unconditional Firm (UF) choice.
- A-level General Studies is not included in the AAB Bursary terms.
- Students must maintain a 2:1 (60%) average across their first year modules to receive the second bursary instalment.
- Only one Writtle College scholarship or bursary can be held at one time, including those provided by the Writtle College National Scholarship Programme (NSP).
- Any applicant who declines a place in College accommodation for the first year is not entitled to a cash bursary as an alternative.
