Writtle College has been established since 1893 providing services to agriculture and the land based sectors. The college has undergone substantive change during this time. It now provides teaching and learning across a range of subjects. Research provision at the college has been established for many years. The research undertaken today primarily has a ‘near market’ practitioner focus as well as developing and underpinning the curriculum. The college has an active community of researchers who regularly publish and contribute to a variety of academic peer reviewed forums.
