Overseas (International) Fee
If you are a non-EU national and have been living outside the EU in the last three years you will pay international fees.Similarly if you are an UK/EU national who has been living outside the EU in the last three years you will be charged the international fee rate unless you can show that your absence was temporary.

UK/EU (Home) Fee (for example Category 1)
To be eligible to pay fees at the home rate you must normally be a UK/EU national and have been living within the UK/EU for the three year period before 1st September in the year that your course starts. Temporary absence such as extended holiday, short term work, or as a result of family in the UK Forces is permitted.If you are a non EU student you must have been ordinarily resident (consistently and lawfully lived) in the UK/EU on the first day of the first academic year of the course and for the three year period prior to this date AND you must have settled status in the UK i.e. without any immigration restriction on the length of your stay.
The main purpose of your residence in the UK must not have been to receive full-time education during any part of the three-year period.
There are a number of additional categories of student who may be eligible to pay home fees including the children of Swiss nationals and Turkish workers who meet the residency requirements; and asylum seekers/refugees as defined by the UK Government.
If you believe you may be eligible to pay the home fee rate please contact Admissions so that a review of your tuition fee status can be made. Please note you may be asked to complete a fee status assessment questionnaire and provide documentary evidence (for example copies of passports, official letters, etc) to support the information you give.
