PSEL 1

This study programme offers the opportunity for considerable improvement in the level of your English language before the start of your main course. Initially it provides systematic language practice in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation to develop fluency in communication. The later focus is on the use of academic English and the skills – listening, reading, writing - needed for study in higher education in the UK.

This intensive course aims to give you confidence before the start of your main course. Although there is some work on general language skills, the focus is on familiarisation with and practice in the academic language and skills needed for study at a British university.
