2012/13 Fees
2012/13 FE Fees - A Brief Guide
Full Time Higher Education Fees (UK and EU) 2012/13
Our full-time undergraduate tuition fees for new home/EU students for academic year 2012/13 will be £8,000 for all courses. This is subject to the approval of the Office for Fair Access.
Fees will not change (other than an inflationary increase) for students already studying Higher Education courses at Writtle College, or for those joining us in 2011. These students will not be affected by changes to the fee system across UK Higher Education.
The £8,000 a year fee was agreed following thorough consultation with students, staff and governors. It reflects our high academic standards and specialist facilities and allows us to continue the on-going investment that makes for an outstanding student experience.
What financial support will be available to students?
Students will be able to access loans for their full tuition fees, as well as grants (for those from lower income families) and loans for maintenance support.Tuition Fee Loans
Undergraduate students will not have to pay tuition fees up-front for any year of study. As is the case now, the Government will provide UK and EU students with a tuition fee loan. Students only begin to repay this after graduation and once they are earning more than £21,000.www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance
